Panchkula, June 8 -- The Bhagwant Mann Government in Punjab has constituted District and Assembly Constituency Welfare Boards for 21 communities across the state in a move aimed at strengthening grassroots participation in governance and ensuring effective implementation of welfare schemes.
The decision has been notified by the Department of Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities through a series of notifications.
The newly constituted boards will function across all 23 districts and 117 Assembly constituencies of Punjab.
