Sanaa, Aug. 9 -- Yemen's Houthi movement targeted the Red Sea port city of Mokha with ballistic missiles on Sunday, according to Yemen's state-run Saba news agency, as fighting escalated along several fronts in the country.
Several missiles struck residential neighbourhoods in Mokha in western Taiz province, Saba reported.
The statement by Yemen's Houthi armed group claims that the recent attack, which was carried out with "a large number of ballistic missiles and drones" on the Red Sea port, was "accurate".
According to the group's military spokesman, it "resulted in widespread destruction" of equipment and weapons and "the death and injury of dozens, including Saudis".
