Sanaa, Aug. 11 -- Iran-backed Houthi militants renewed attacks on government-held areas in Yemen on Tuesday, raising fears that the escalation could reignite the country's currently stalled civil war and create even more threats for regional shipping, particularly at a time when maritime navigation in West Asia is already under threat.
Yemen's military said the Houthis targeted the Red Sea port city of Mokha and the central province of Marib with missiles and drones, but provided no further details.
