Varanasi, May 22 -- The first phase of the country's first fully digital census began on Friday from Baba Vishwanath Temple complex, and the entire process is being conducted through a mobile app, ensuring data accuracy and transparency.
Under the leadership of Assistant Municipal Commissioner Mrityunjay Narayan Mishra, enumerators will now visit every household in the city to collect house details. This census is completely high-tech. Enumerators are entering answers to 33 key questions regarding houses and associated properties in digital format using a special application.
