Shillong, July 13 -- Sonam Raghuvanshi, accused of killing her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, during their honeymoon in Meghalaya in 2025, has been attending all court hearings whenever summoned, a Meghalaya police official said on Monday.
"She (Sonam) is abiding by the conditions of her bail. She is here, and she is appearing for all hearings that the court has called for," Vivek Syiem, the district police chief of East Khasi Hills, told reporters.
Acknowledging that the bail granted to Sonam was a setback, Syiem, however, stated that the state is looking forward to the trial.
"Nonetheless, the trial will go on. This is a setback to the investigation, but we have not lost the war. Let us look forward to the trial," the police official said....
