Lucknow, March 3 -- Holika Dahan took place in many cities of Uttar Pradesh after midnight on Monday and early Tuesday morning.

However, in some places, Holika will be lit this evening after end of Lunar eclipse.

On the other hand, due to the lunar eclipse, Holi celebrations will take place in UP tomorrow.

This year''s first lunar eclipse is occurring today hence Holi-related activities has been suspended due to the eclipse. This will be a partial lunar eclipse visible in parts of India. The eclipse will last from 3:20 pm to 6:46 pm.

The eclipse will not be visible anywhere in India because it will begin before moonrise.
