Kakamigahara (Japan), Sept. 21 -- India's women produced another breathtaking attacking display at the Asian Games 2026, overwhelming Indonesia 17-1 in their second Pool B match on Monday and taking their goal tally to an astonishing 36 in two games.
The Indian forward line once again proved too much for Indonesia, with Deepika Sehrawat, Rutuja Pisal and Navneet Kaur scoring hat-tricks as India maintained their commanding start to the tournament.
Deepika, who had scored eight goals in India's 19-0 demolition of Uzbekistan in the opening match, added three more to her tournament tally. She converted penalty corners in the eighth, 28th and 40th minutes.
