Chandrapur, July 24 -- : A 24-year-old man was arrested for allegedly making a fake bomb blast threat call to the Dial 112 emergency helpline, triggering a major security response in Mul town of Maharashtra's Chandrapur district, police said on Friday.

According to police, Police Constable Shrikant Gajanan Wadai and Assistant Sub-Inspector Yogeshwar Bhendare were on patrol duty on Thursday night when they received repeated calls from the same mobile number between 9:43 pm and 10:15 pm.
