Kolkata, Aug. 21 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah and West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Friday remotely inaugurated the newly-constructed office building of the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate in Salt Lake from Siliguri.
The inauguration was held during Shah's visit to West Bengal, with the Home Minister joining the programme remotely while addressing a gathering in Siliguri.
Shah linked the inauguration to the BJP government's broader emphasis on strengthening the rule of law and modernising the criminal justice system in West Bengal.
