Chennai, July 7 -- The Hitachi Group, one of the Global Fortune 500 companies, on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government committing an investment of Rs 1,000 crore for expansion of its two facilities of its subsidiaries in the state, offering high skilled jobs to 1,000 people.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Vijay and Industries Minister S Keerthana and company officials including Hitchai India MD Venu Nugari and Chief Development Officer Karthik Krishamurthy and other officials at the State Secretariat at an event organised by the Industry, Investment Promotion and Trade department.
