Shimla, July 20 -- The State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB), Himachal Pradesh, has registered an FIR against former Dehra MLA Hoshiyar Singh Chambyal in connection with the alleged misuse of government funds under the MLA Discretionary Grant Scheme.
According to an official statement issued by the bureau on Monday, the case was registered after a preliminary inquiry into a complaint lodged by employees of a company allegedly linked to the former legislator.
The complainants were also among the beneficiaries in whose names financial assistance had reportedly been sanctioned.
