Shimla, Feb. 24 -- Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday released the report 'Scientific Assessment of Tackling Non-CO2 Emissions: Pathways for Himachal Pradesh', outlining strategies to address climate pollutants beyond carbon dioxide and strengthen the state's climate response framework.

On the occasion, two Memoranda of Agreement (MoAs) were signed in his presence to promote cultivation and conservation of medicinal plants. The first MoA was signed with Dabur India Limited to support large-scale plantation across ecologically suitable regions of the state. Under the agreement, the company will supply 12 lakh quality saplings annually which will be one lakh per species, amounting to 1.20 crore saplings over ten years.
