Shimla, Aug. 27 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday said the state government would amend rules to ensure complete confidentiality of complaints related to harassment of women and assured that every complaint would be investigated and strict action taken against those found guilty.

Intervening during Question Hour in the Assembly while responding to a question raised by Congress MLA Malendra Rajan, Sukhu said the government accorded the highest respect to women and acknowledged that women were often unable to express their grievances openly.

The proposed changes in rules would help ensure that complaints could be made without fear and dealt with appropriately, he said. Earlier, replying to the question, S...
