Shimla, June 5 -- Himachal Pradesh government on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to promote climate-resilient, inclusive and sustainable development.

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu described the partnership as a major step towards achieving the state's green development goals.

The agreement was signed in the presence of the Chief Minister by Secretary, Environment, Science, Technology and Climate Change, Sushil Singla, on behalf of the state government and Dr. Angela Lusigi, Resident Representative of UNDP.
