Shimla, June 22 -- Himachal Pradesh has signed implementation agreements for 19 hydropower projects with a combined generation capacity of 278 MW and an estimated investment of Rs 3,336 crore during the current year.

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday congratulating officers and employees of the Energy Department for the achievement said the state government was committed to harnessing the vast hydropower potential of the hill state to strengthen its economy and boost revenue generation.
