Shimla, June 17 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said the State has achieved a major breakthrough in the long-pending 422 MW Kishau Dam Project after the Centre agreed in principle that the cost of the power component would be borne by the beneficiary states, ending an eight-year deadlock over financial liability.
In a high-level meeting chaired by union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Tuesday, Sukhu presented the State's case.
