Shimla, Aug. 19 -- The Himachal Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board has registered a 39 per cent growth in sales during 2025-26, with sales of various products touching Rs 54.84 crore against Rs 39.19 crore in the previous financial year, earning around Rs 4.50 crore for the Board. The figures were presented at the 248th meeting of the Board of Directors held here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan.

Reviewing the Board's performance, Chauhan welcomed the growth in sales and directed officials to rationalise the staff strength in line with actual functional requirements to ensure effective utilisation of human resources and improve administrative and operational efficiency.
