Shimla, July 4 -- The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Saturday questioned the Chief Secretary and the Principal Secretary (Finance) over delays in departmental responses to Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports and pending action on the committee's recommendations.
The issue came up during the committee's two-day meeting held on July 3 and 4 at the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Secretariat under the chairmanship of Anil Sharma.
The committee reviewed the status of suo motu replies on CAG audit reports as well as original and Action Taken Reports (ATRs) of the PAC in cases where departmental responses are still awaited or action remains incomplete.
