Shimla, May 24 -- Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta on Saturday, stressed the need to preserve and promote the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of the state by documenting various regional dialects spoken across Himachal Pradesh.
The Governor made these remarks during a meeting with noted writer Dr. O P Sharma who called on him at Lok Bhavan here and presented him his poetry collection 'Mhari Soch'.
During the interaction, Gupta said Himachal Pradesh was known not only for its scenic beauty but also for its vibrant folk traditions, diverse languages and cultural richness.
