Shimla, May 21 -- A visitor-friendly accommodation initiative has been launched through the HIM Atithi platform with the Himachal Pradesh government, starting online booking facilities for the 21-bed dormitory at Circuit House, Hamirpur, from May 20.
An official spokesperson said here on Thursday that the dormitory facility had been integrated with the existing HIM Atithi online booking platform to provide affordable and convenient accommodation, particularly for students visiting Hamirpur for competitive examinations and other educational purposes.
According to the spokesperson, a nominal charge of Rs 100 per bed has been fixed for Himachali residents, while non-Himachali visitors will be charged Rs 200 per bed.
