Shimla, July 29 -- Himachal Pradesh has secured administrative approval of Rs 239.45 crore under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) 2026-27 from the union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for the upgradation of two major road projects aimed at improving connectivity in key horticulture belts of the state.

Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh on Wednesday said the approval was the outcome of sustained efforts by the state government and the Public Works Department in pursuing the proposals with the union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways under the leadership of union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
