Shimla, Sept. 25 -- Himachal Pradesh has become the first state in the country to launch the Him e-Panchayat Proceedings System portal, aimed at digitising the proceedings of meetings held by Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh said on Friday.
The minister was speaking after inaugurating a two-day national-level orientation workshop on the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) and various schemes of the Rural Development Department at the Dr Manmohan Singh Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (MSHIPA) here.
He also launched the e-Panchayat portal and released a magazine featuring best practices under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
