Shimla, May 11 -- Thirty-one government employees, including 21 police personnel, have been dismissed from service for their alleged involvement in drug-related activities, as the Himachal Pradesh government intensified its crackdown on the chitta menace, said Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today.
Addressing the media after presiding over a meeting of the Narcotics Coordination (NCORD) committee here, the Chief Minister said action had been taken against 123 government employees and police personnel found involved in drug-related activities, including the dismissal of 21 police personnel and 10 state government employees, disciplinary action was also initiated against employees two each from HRTC, Food and Civil Supplies and Rural D...
