Shimla, July 2 -- A court in Himachal Pradesh has convicted a man for stalking, wrongfully restraining and criminally intimidating a minor girl in a case registered earlier this year at Nirmand police station in Kullu district.
According to police official, the Court of the Additional Disytrict Judge, Fast Track Special Court (POCSO), Rampur convicted Rohan, son of Indru Ram, a resident of Sheel village in Nirmand tehsil of Kullu district, on June 30 under Sections 78, 351(3) and 126 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.
The court sentenced the convict to six months' simple imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1,000 under Section 78 (stalking), six months' simple imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1,000 under Section 351(3) (criminal intimidati...
