Shimla, March 4 -- Colleges across Himachal Pradesh have been directed to screen an anti-drug awareness film as authorities step up efforts to tackle rising substance abuse among young people in the northern Indian state.
The Directorate of Higher Education said in a notification that all government, government-aided and private degree colleges must organise screenings of 'The White Truth,' produced by the Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti (HGVS), for students, faculty and staff.
The order applies to all institutions, including Government College of Teacher Education (GCTE) Dharamshala and the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Solan.
