Shimla, May 10 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister S S Sukhu on Sunday congratulated the students who successfully cleared the Class 10 examination conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala, the results of which were declared on Sunday.
The HPBOSE recorded an overall success rate of 83.87 per cent this year.
A total of 93,661 students appeared in the examination, of whom 78,150 passed, while 8,433 were placed in the compartmental category and 6,559 failed. Last year, the Class 10 results were declared on May 15 with an overall pass figure of 79.8 per cent.
