Palampur, April 5 -- A comprehensive earthquake mock drill was conducted at Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya to enhance disaster preparedness and response among students and staff.
Organised under the aegis of the Students' Welfare Organisation and guided by Students' Welfare Officer Dr. Desh Raj Chaudhary, the exercise saw participation from over 200 students across four constituent colleges.
The drill simulated an earthquake striking during an examination at the College of Agriculture, with 123 students and five teachers assumed to be present.
