Dharamshala, Nov. 3 -- Factional differences within the BJP in Kangra have come to the fore, with local party leaders accusing BJP activist and Panna Pramukh Munish Sharma, considered close to Leader of Opposition in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Jai Ram Thakur, of misleading people and working against the party's interests.
Kangra Mandal BJP President Ashok Kumar and party leader Ranjit Singh termed Munish Sharma and Rajesh Pariyal anti-BJP elements, alleging that neither had been assigned any organisational responsibility. They accused the duo of attempting to weaken the party in the area while projecting themselves as BJP leaders.
