New Delhi, July 23 -- The Delhi government has resolved the major recurring water- logging problem in North Delhi's Civil Lines area, near the Metcalfe House with a modern permanent pump house installed at the location of the drain regulator there on Thursday.
Delhi's PWD and Irrigation & Flood Control Minister Parvesh Verma inaugurated the facility which marks a significant step towards strengthening flood and water- logging management infrastructure.
Notably, the Metcalfe House drain regulator is a very important flood-control and storm water management structure, which is located near the historic Metcalfe House, along the Yamuna River.
