Beirut, May 21 -- The Lebanese movement Hezbollah said on Thursday that it carried out 24 military operations against the Israeli army on Wednesday, describing the attacks as a response to alleged ceasefire violations and strikes on civilian targets in southern Lebanon.
"In May 20, 2026, the Islamic Resistance carried out 24 combat operations against the enemy Israeli army," the group said in a statement.
According to Hezbollah, its fighters targeted Israeli troop positions and military concentrations in areas including Avivim, Ramim, Ramot Naftali, and Ma'ale Golani, as well as several settlements along the Lebanese border. The group said the attacks involved drones, rockets, and artillery fire.
