Panchkula, Aug. 26 -- In a major blow to a suspected drug trafficking network, Haryana Police have arrested a man and seized 1.597 kg of heroin worth an estimated Rs 3.15 crore in the international market after allegedly finding the contraband concealed in 30 packets beneath the handbrake area of a Swift car in Nuh district on Wednesday.
The arrested accused has been identified as Wajid alias Kala, son of Islam, a resident of Kotla village in Nuh district. Police have also seized the car allegedly used for transporting the narcotics.
