Hyderabad, April 15 -- The Telangana government is set to transform Hyderabad's iconic heritage structures into world-class tourist destinations, Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said on Wednesday after inspecting key historic sites in the city.
Accompanied by Charminar MLA Mir Zulfeqar Ali, Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director Gautami, and Director of Archaeology Arjuna Rao, the Minister visited the Charminar precinct and Chowmahalla Palace, reviewing ongoing conservation and development works.
Highlighting restoration efforts, he said the Quli Qutb Shah Urban Development Authority (QQSDA) has sanctioned Rs 3.64 crore for the renovation of the historic Machli Kaman, with tenders to be floated shortly. He also...
