Ranchi, Aug. 30 -- Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Sunday offered a chadar at the shrine of Hazrat Qutbuddin Risaldar Baba in Doranda here and prayed for peace, prosperity and well-being of the state.
Soren attended the 219th Urs of Hazrat Qutbuddin Risaldar Baba and offered the chadar at the shrine as per tradition.
He said the teachings of Risaldar Baba conveyed the message of love, brotherhood, humanity and communal harmony.
The Chief Minister prayed for peace, prosperity and progress in the lives of the people of Jharkhand and for further strengthening of social harmony, brotherhood and unity in the state.
