Balrampur, March 4 -- Security agencies have intensified surveillance along the India-Nepal international border in view of the ongoing election process in Nepal. In a recent development, a youth was arrested at the Koylabas border under the Jarwa police station limits in Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh while allegedly attempting to cross into Nepal using dual identity documents, police said on Wednesday.

The arrest was made during a special checking drive conducted by the 9th Battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) on Tuesday evening. Personnel stopped the suspect based on suspicious activity.
