Nashik, Aug. 27 -- With extensive road widening, repair and infrastructure development works underway in Nashik and surrounding areas ahead of the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela, concerns have been raised over the safety of two-wheeler riders travelling on roads that have become narrow and congested due to ongoing construction.
Several roads currently have potholes, mud, unfinished stretches and construction material, while heavy vehicles such as containers, trucks, dumpers, JCBs and road rollers continue to operate on the same routes. This makes it particularly dangerous for two-wheeler riders, who are often forced to make way for heavy vehicles on narrow and uneven roads, increasing the risk of traffic congestion and accidents...
