Shimla, March 17 -- A fresh western disturbance triggered widespread rain and snowfall across Himachal Pradesh, with Keylong recording 20 cm of snowfall, while several parts of the state received moderate to heavy rainfall, bringing a sharp dip in temperatures.
According to the Meteorological Centre Shimla data recorded at 0830 hrs, higher reaches of Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur and Chamba districts witnessed significant snowfall.
Apart from Keylong, Jot recorded 12 cm of snowfall, Kukumseri 11.2 cm, Kalpa 8.8 cm, Hansa 7.5 cm, Manali 5 cm and Sangla 4.5 cm.
