Dimapur, June 30 -- The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) on Tuesday said eleven districts of the state are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfallover the next two days.
In a severe weather advisory warning, the NSDMA said the districts of Kiphire, Wokha, Kohima, Mokokchung, Mon, Noklak, Peren, Phek, Tuensang, Tseminyu, and Longleng are likely to experience intense precipitation starting today.
It warned that the sustained rainfall may trigger flash floods in the low-lying areas of Dimapurand Niuland, urging residents in these vulnerable zones to exercise extreme caution and remain vigilant.
