Panchkula, Sept. 1 -- Rainfall is expected to increase quickly across Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting heavy rain in some areas from September 2 to 5, and fairly widespread to widespread rain over the region from September 3 to 5.
In its All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued at 8:03 am on September 1, the IMD said Punjab and Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi are likely to receive rain in some places on September 1-2, before the rain area expands significantly during September 3-5. Rain is expected to become spotty again on September 6.
