Nagpur, July 6 -- : Heavy rainfall in Mumbai severely disrupted flight operations on Monday, leaving several legislators from Nagpur, including a state minister, stranded at the city's airport and unable to attend the opening day of the Maharashtra legislature's monsoon session.
The leaders had reached Nagpur airport to board a morning flight to Mumbai but were stranded for nearly one and a half hours after their flight was delayed due to adverse weather conditions in Mumbai.
Among those affected were State Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, MLAs Vikas Thakre, Sameer Meghe and Praveen Datke, along with MLC Rajiv Potdar, whose flights were cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
