Agartala, Aug. 3 -- Rail connectivity in the southern districts of Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, and Manipur with the rest of the country has been disrupted for the last 10 days due to heavy rainfall in the Lumding-Badarpur Hill Section, which has damaged railway tracks.

According to a Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) official, train services on the Lumding-Badarpur Hill Section have been disrupted following heavy rain in and around New Harangajao station in the hilly terrain of Assam's Dima Hasao district.
