Panchkula, July 25 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast an active monsoon spell across northwest India, with heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds expected in several states and union territories over the coming week.
According to the IMD's latest All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab are likely to experience isolated to scattered rainfall from July 24 to 26, followed by fairly widespread to widespread rainfall activity between July 27 and 30.
