New Delhi, Sept. 5 -- Heavy downpour in Delhi on Saturday led to flight advisories from major airlines and disrupted road traffic in several parts of the capital, creating uncertainty for passengers travelling to Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA).
IndiGo and Air India posted on social media, cautioning passengers that weather conditions could affect flights arriving in and departing from Delhi.
IndiGo warned of possible delays and urged passengers to check their flight status before leaving for the airport, while also advising them to allow additional travel time because of waterlogging and slow-moving traffic.
Air India issued a similar advisory, saying flights to and from Delhi could be affected by the weather.
