Hyderabad, July 20 -- The Heartfulness Institute and the Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad (UPBTVP) on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on ecological restoration, biodiversity enhancement, heritage conservation, yoga, meditation and community development in the Mathura-Vrindavan region.
The partnership aims to restore Braj's sacred heritage through the Vraj Vaibhav Abhiyan, focusing on the rejuvenation of historic ponds, forests and pilgrimage infrastructure. Under the initiative, at least 10 historic kunds (sacred ponds), including Govind Kund, Gandharv Kund and Surabhi Kund, will be restored.
