Bengaluru, March 11 -- Dr Sharan Prakash Patil, Minister for Medical Education, on Wednesday said modern healthcare must go beyond treating diseases and focus on improving the quality of life, dignity and confidence of patients.
Speaking at the launch of four specialised clinics by Fortis Healthcare in Bengaluru, Patil said services such as aesthetic gynecology and fertility clinics empower women by integrating functional, restorative and confidence-building aspects into reproductive health. He noted that healthcare today must anticipate patient needs and remove stigma surrounding sensitive medical conditions.
