Hyderabad, March 4 -- The Telangana government will prepare health profiles of about 46 lakh women belonging to self-help groups across the state, with screening set to begin on March 8, coinciding with International Women's Day.
Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha reviewed the programmes to be undertaken by the Health Department under the Public Administration-Progress Plan at the Secretariat on Wednesday.
The minister directed officials to implement a 99-day action plan from March 6 to June 12, ensuring that routine medical services in hospitals are not disrupted while implementing the programmes. The initiatives will be carried out in four phases.
