Kolkata, June 2 -- Hindustan Copper Limited - a Mini-Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) - has successfully revived its long-idle Gujarat Copper project through a Public-Private Partnership model, transforming a dormant asset into a future revenue-generating enterprise.

HCL, which is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Mines. on Tuesday handed over of the Letter of Award to Lohum Materials Pvt. Ltd. here for restarting operation and maintenance of Gujarat Copper Project under revenue-sharing model for 20 years, extendable by another 5 years, the CPSE said in a media release.
