Mumbai, March 6 -- The Bombay High Court on Thursday refused to allot a space for offering Namaz during the holy month of Ramzan near Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) citing security reasons.

Dismissing a petition from taxi and auto-rickshaw drivers' union, a division bench of Justices B.P. Colabawalla and Firdosh Pooniwalla ruled that "security is paramount" and overrides religious considerations in high-risk zones like airports.
