Bristol, June 21 -- Captain Hayley Matthews starred with both ball and bat as West Indies Women defeated Sri Lanka Women by five wickets in their ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 Group B match at the County Ground here on Sunday, registering their third consecutive victory of the tournament.
After electing to field, West Indies bowled Sri Lanka out for 98 in 19.4 overs, with Matthews producing a superb spell of 3 for 15. Karishma Ramharack supported well with 2 for 15, while Chinelle Henry, Aaliyah Alleyne, Afy Fletcher and Ashmini Munisar claimed a wicket each.
