Panchkula, July 27 -- The Haryana Finance Department has directed all government departments to strictly follow its June 30, instructions on pay re-fixation for clerks.
It clarified that the additional increment benefit is only for eligible clerks and cannot be extended to employees promoted to other cadres.
In a circular issued on Monday, the department said it noticed some departments were extending additional increments to employees not covered by its instructions. This prompted the government to issue a clarification.
The Finance Department stated that its June 30, 2026 circular replaced the previous provisions from February 8, 2024, following representations from the Clerical Association Welfare Society (Haryana).
