Panchkula, Aug. 23 -- Haryana has urged the Centre to relax the Agri Stack minimum distance requirement, proposing that it be increased from 20 metres to more than 100 metres to make field operations more practical and convenient.

Dr Yashpal Yadav, Deputy Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Haryana, and Director, Consolidation of Land Holdings and Land Records, who attended a national conference on Agri Stack in New Delhi, said he had raised the issue and requested a revision of the existing requirement.

"On Saturday, I participated in the National Conference on Agri Stack in New Delhi and raised the issue of increasing the minimum distance from 20 metres to more than 100 metres so that it becomes more conducive and convenient," Ya...
